Bob's Winter Commuter - Head Tube Joints
In this picture you can see both phases of joint finishing.
At the top of the picture the head-top tube joint is semi-finished (shaped).
The joint at the bottom of the picture, the Head-Down tube joint is completely finished.

Bob's Winter Commuter - Start
Here is the start of a winter commuting bike for myself. It is a 29'er mountain bike
design and will be set up with Nokian studded tires. I will use a Nuvinci n360
rear hub (http://www.fallbrooktech.com/08_bicycle_n360.asp) I am curious
about what my impression will be of this hub.It will be interesting not having
set gears, but the hub is pretty heavy. I will have cable routing for a regular
derailleured bike and will also probably run routing for a Rohloff 14 speed
internal hub. ( I used one for years and rode thru a couple of winters with it).
Seat tube mitered to Bottom Bracket.
Close-up.
Majority of Front Traingle mitered. This is the first time for me using a bent
downtube. Took a bit of extra time planning the miters, but it worked out
and fit great!

Now I need to wait for the stock for the top tube to come in. I am going
to put a curved top tube on this one also. I should have the tubing later this
week, then I will bend and miter it and get the front traingle tacked and brazed.
